About The Team
Laki Kane, named after a combination of Kāne (the Hawaiian God), Lucky (“Laki” in Hawaiian), and sugar cane (“cane”) that is used to make the beautiful rums and cocktails we serve, is the culmination of many years of planning by founding partners Steve Kyprianou and Georgi Radev. Call in for a cocktail – or two – and we promise you’ll enjoy a warm welcome – whatever the weather.
GEORGI RADEV
Creative Director Georgi Radev opened and consulted on London’s renowed Mahiki Bar, whilst operating the venue for over 11 years and overseeing its global expansion. Founding the Spirit of Tiki Festival and benefitting from a wealth of expertise in rum and Tiki cocktails, Georgi Radev was voted the World Tiki Bartender of the Year in 2011 and the London Bartender of the Year in 2015. The Creative Director is responsible for overseeing menu and venue development, contributing significantly to the building of Laki Kane’s unique.
STEVE KYPRIANOU
Steve Kyprianou is the Managing Director of Laki Kane. With over 30 years of experience in corporate, telecommunications, and hospitality sectors, he benefits from extensive management expertise and an innovative approach to problem solving. The Managing Director champions collaboration and communication and is committed to creating a positive work environment and a culture of excellence whilst driving Laki Kane.
